If you are a storytelling “creative,” regardless of distribution channel, you need to watch this. I would recommend that Agents, Editors, Publishers, and producers of any sort of media pay very close attention to what Kevin Spacey has to say here. The key term is “Content,” and the old rules about what people buy or don’t by are very quickly fading.
These are exciting times for storytellers. The entire planet is in the midst of a fundamental phase-shift from what was “tightly controlled, analog, and internationally partitioned methods of distribution” to what is and will be a digital realm without boundaries.
I caution anyone of the old school that if they don’t wrap their heads around this reality, they will go the way of the dodo.
